SALZACH GORGE AT PASS LUEG

From the nearby Lueg Pass, it is only a few steps to the Salzachklamm natural monument. The impressive breakthrough between the Tennen and Hagen mountains into the Dachstein limestone is over 80 meters deep.

The rock faces feature numerous huge erosion scours created by the eddies of the flowing water.
The impressive natural spectacle delights young and old alike and can be easily combined with a visit to the pilgrimage church "Maria Brunneck", built in 1763, at the top of the pass.

BLUNTAUTAL

The Bluntautal nature reserve is unique in its natural beauty, making it one of the most enchanting spots in Salzburger Land. The crystal-clear waters of the Torrener Ache river reflect the breathtaking mountain scenery and the deep green lakes - surrounded by expansive meadows - are home to brown trout.
